Zeus was in the holiday spirit this year...don't tell him it was a free costume. He clowned around the neighborhood but was disappointed no one was giving out biscuits.

Austin

David and I spent the weekend in Austin as I was traveling for a conference. I wasn't really sure what to expect but had heard it was "one of the best places to live". We ventured down to 6th Street Friday night to see what downtown had in store. We found out it was a street full of hole-in-the-wall bars. We made the rounds and stopped at the Dizzy Rooster (from the Real World) as well as Coyote Ugly (definitely scary), walked in and out of Jackalope (one too many tatoos and nose rings) and listened to a band at a new bar called Ninas (?). Now I know why they say "keep Austin weird".
