31 more days!

WOW! One more month! Now the count down really begins. It’s been one of those weeks where everything seems to happen all at once. But every meeting we’ve had and phone call I’ve made has been nothing but helpful and reassuring that we’re moving in the right direction.

Performing Live!

Together for the first time Ryan (Tickle ‘dem Ivories) has graciously come out of retirement for this special event, Mark (I am your Jukebox Hero) has taken time out of his hectic tour schedule to accompany star struck Kassi in a special wedding performance. Sorry Jason, beatboxing didn’t make the cut.

All dressed up and no where to go

While David enjoyed some leisure time in Lake Tahoe this weekend, it was the perfect opportunity for me work on my wedding day attire. So I drove up to Sonora for my first dress fitting where I was told no appointment was necessary. I ended up spending a good 30 minutes in my dress waiting for my turn to be pinned. In the meantime, I pranced around the store practicing the congo line (they say you have to dance in the dress to make sure it fits right) and was also able to pick out my shoes and other essential accessories for the big day.

I then shopped around Modesto and found a guest book, favor bags and the cake knife and server. Tonight, we'll finalize our itinenary and song list with our DJ.
I thought I'd have a little break once the invitations went out - but with all the response cards we've gotten back I need to figure out a system for setting up the seating arrangements and meal choice (cringe).
AND...let's cross our fingers that the dresses arrive this week!!
