New Addition

I see candlelit dinners in my near future! No more eating breakfast standing up at the island in the kitchen. No more huddling around the coffee table while eating dinner. It sounds silly and I’m not sure why it’s taken so long…but the wait is over. We are the proud owners of a walnut-colored counter height table. Well...it hasn't exactly arrived yet, but was officially ordered last night and shall arrive this weekend!

I see a place to put my keys...No more freely walking out to the patio, now I must dodge various obstacles. My poor toes. No more intimate dinners reviewing the latest and greatest Kings comeback. I know it sounds silly, but I'm not sure why it's happening so fast... Oh well - as my high school spanish teacher once said 'Un poco a poco, se va lejos.'

Speaking of new additions...congratulations to my cousin Todd and his wife, Heather, on their new addition - a baby girl! Thanks for the pictures of little Addy :)

Since everyone has been asking, I thought it was only fair to post a couple of pics...Heck, I think it looks fairly decent. I don't know if its going to improve my bench press, but it sure beats eating on a coffee table.

Bet you didn't know David and I were so artistic :) Anyone want to vote on which painting they like best?

That looks like a great poker table. We don't have to use coasters for our drinks, do we? By the way, I like the painting with the wine bottle the best.

Good call on the painting - I knew Hofman's had good taste. As for the poker party, I am definitely in. Please clarify with my better half as she may disagree with the use of the table though.

Great, just what I need - a David with a big(ger) head. Can you see him in front of an easel with a palette in hand? Now that's a funny picture! I'm seeing the candlelit dinner, brunch fit for a queen, tapas and wine soiree, Dave and I discussing wedding plans...not sure how the poker chips fit in?

I like it! And David, from what I remember from when I was there, I think you will be dodging less obstacles then when the work-out stuff was there. Love you guys. Aunt Lois
