How about...Honeymoons!!!

sunburn image
So far every entry or comment has dealt with the planning of the wedding in one way or another. I think the time has come to discuss the best part of the entire process....The Honeymoon, of course! So many options, so many chances for outrageous sunburns.

A quick google search pulls up the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas (very nice. http://www.atlantis.com) or Jamaica (Jamaica Mon). Either one I am definitely excited about. Much more than how many flowers are required for each table (by the way, visit our exclusive flower provider Main Street Floral) or what color the bridesmaid dresses should be...

Just a thought to break up the location dilemma.

We've been to Atlantis, ask Terry about the tiki bar. Beautiful site.

We've been to both Atlantis, just for a visit to the aquarium, and Jamaica a few times for different reasons. Atlantis is pretty, but will nickle and dime you- as they do not have an "all inclusive package". Jamaica- well, our last vacation was at a Sandals in Jamaica- Ocho Rios to be exact- to put it nicely- it sucked! So, use caution in Jamaica. Sandals Whitehouse was another in Jamaica that is very pricey, but we heard not all that great either. On a positive note, we had a lovely trip to Sandals in Antigua- we'd go back in a heartbeat! We highly recommend it! It is on one of the voted best beaches in the world (Dickinson Bay), caters to couples only, and is all inclusive(food, drinks, entertainment, etc.) It has a spa, several restaurants, and as much to do as you'd like, or as little to do as you'd like. I have also heard the Sandals St Lucia is fabulous. Use caution in how far you will travel your first day- you will be tired - we made that mistake for our honeymoon with a flight to England long train to Scotland and train back down through Sctoland , England and over to Paris for a day. Another trip we did for business was Bermuda. It was pretty, but not a ton to do and very expensive because everything is imported. All in all, find out what type of setting and what you will both enjoy! Best Wishes!

I'm voting for Antiqua...looks like the perfect spot! Voted World's Most Romantic Resort with 365 white sand beaches AND casinos offering Las Vegas-style gambling. Check it out http://www.sandals.com/general/included.cfm

Ever think about Greece? It is a really cheep place to visit and you can jump from Island to Island... also, you can take a boat over to Italy and fly home from there??
