Oh Fer ???
Well, we tried, right? Continuing on with the planning of the BIG DAY, we figured what's more important than the date? The place, of course (well, of course its the one you're getting married to, but we seem to have that already figured out).
So our first stop was Weddings USA. For those picturing a grandiose store, stop. It's nothing like that. It reminds me more of a smorgasboard of everything you may ever need, but nothing that you want.
The real reason for the visit was to locate the location. However, after speaking with the consultant, it quickly became apparent that we were wasting our time. The location was mostly dirt, poorly setup, and did I mention EXPENSIVE? After our cordial 'we'll check our schedule and get back to you', we quickly left ASAP.
No problem, right? We have multiple choices left (still including PA). Next up --- Wine and Roses (http://www.winerose.com) in the Grape Capital of the World. Meeting was set up for Thursday evening. Can't wait. The anticipation quickly turned to frustration as our appointment got cancelled / rescheduled.
So for those scoring at home, that's a big 0 for 2. As the saying goes "when life throws you curveballs, make lemonade!"....
