I know I’m training when…

I look forward to easy days. Today was one of them. Yoga, a brisk walk and weight training. That’s what I call easy. Anything not involving running is easy when you’re training for a race. My muscles are happy after a lengthening yoga session. A brisk walk is movement, but nothing strenuous. Weight training adds balance by working my non-running muscles. My glycogen is replenished and I’ll be ready to hit the pavement tomorrow morning.
